Like a memory leak ..

Check your Event Logs... all of mine are pointing to a memory leak in the application GW.exe
Further evidenced by the fact that when I run the game the memory usage for GW.exe escalates to about 250MB and then hangs.
I may be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that's a memory leak.

taking on too much
My thoughts are whether they are taking on too much at once and spreading themselves too thin. Between fixes, 3rd chapter, new character slots, and events, they must be working to the bone, or have many newbie programmers to helping out.
Then, we must ask if it is the corporate greed pushing unrealistic goals, or truly a poor run of programming.
Time will tell.

Nope- just tired of people demanding updates all the time and then complaining about the updates when we get them. With all the updates Anet is making, there's bound to be some errors in the coding. I fully understand that people are upset- I am too. I also know that plenty of people probably lost great drops due to being booted before picking them up. I'm not happy with the fact that the servers are down, theres lag when you can actually log on, and everyone gets err7s frequently. I also guess I wasn't clear with my original post- all I am trying to say is that you need to give Anet a break- they're working on the problem and that's all they can do about it right now.

Hi, guys,
We're working on the current situation and tracing it to its source. We should have an update soon, and we believe the situation will be corrected quite soon.
We're sorry for the inadvertent "time out" and are working hard to get things back to normal!
